I live in Indiana, and we came to Brimstone for the first time over Christmas week 2007. As per the wildlife, the deer tracks were everywhere, we saw deer and turkeys 3 of the 4 days we were out, I even have them on video 3 different times, and they didn't run from the atv's we were ridding either. We ride on a small 250 acres here at home, almost every weekend. We see deer all the time, crossing the trails, eating in the pastures, along with turkeys and other wildlife. I thought hunting was suppose to be a sport, were you actually go and hunt them, not them coming to you, isn't that what "HUNTING" stands for? Just because you didn't see the trophy buck, doesn't mean he didn't see you. Some people are never satisfied, and that is the reason most people, don't want anyone on their land causing conflict.
The people at Brimstone, are the reason we all get to go there, and do whatever it is, that we are there to do. If not for them, none of us would get to go there to do anything. They stuck their necks out and their wallets, just so we could all get use of the property. We should all be happy, that the animal rights activist didn't buy it, then we wouldn't have to worry about stepping foot on the place.
I would think 45,000 acres would be enough to keep us all happy.
As for the dozer, it sounds to me like these guys are doing things by the book, and some people are just wanting to stir the S**T any chance they get.
I want to thank the people at Brimstone, for giving us all the oppertunity to enjoy the land, and I hope they can over look the negativity. If they give up, we are all screwed, and we all know you can't make everyone happy.
Thanks again guys,
The James Gang!!!!!!!!
