Ride July 7th + 8th

Got to take a two day ride with my son Daniel.  Had to have a key made because it slipped out of my hand before we ever unloaded.  One of the radiators leaked Saturday, we bought epoxy Saturday night and put on the radiator.  This stopped the drip while it was setting.  Sunday afternoon while on the next to highest spot on trail 22 Dan had a flat on rear of DRZ.  I packed everthing but tire tools and patches.  He drove 13 miles back to new parking lot at bottom of trail 3 with a complete flat. He even got to styling while riding the flat.  That was about the time we wanted to return home any way.  In spite of the trouble WE HAD A BLAST.   I do not have a map in front of me so I cant tell all the trails
we rode.  We did ride 130 miles and loved it.  Some of the trails are the steepest I have ever ridden.  I have not reviewed Brimstone yet but will do so this week.  Looking forward to returning all ready.

So I guess this means u could do some guiding now and show us some of the cool stuff u found?

Bama you know your way around better than I do.  We did see places that were new to us.  I am almost always up for a ride.  But this week our house is being refloored and I need to stay home.  I would enjoy company later.  Dan and myself are going to West Virginia last full week in July.  Would appreciate imput on where to ride.  Haven't made reservasions yet.

Thats a real good time of year to go...we were there that same week last summer... long days and plenty of time to get lots of riding in while we were there. Hoping to make it back up there next year... will just have to wait and see how things go.

I know when I been somewhere before... Im not crazy about the big new map... I like it small and simple and go from there... I rather follow and go faster then have to lead and pick the route. I have had enough guiding for a while and rather follow along and pick up the pace a little bit... summer is almost over and Im running out of time to slip away for some good rides before the girl goes back to school... she is on summer vacation so Im sort of on summer vacation and have to get her less places. She isnt going to like it but I need one more action packed adrenaline rush ride before I have to settle down.... get a chance and some others want to ride give me a hollar and I will see if I can run away from home for a weekend.
