first time going to brimstone!

just wondering if anyone could give me some info about the park that isnt posted on the website, like can u ride doubles on a regular 1up atv. me and my wife ride on a honda foreman 450es together

You can ride double,you have to have two permits.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to places to stay close to the park?  We would really like to stay in a cabin to get the whole experience of going on a riding trip, but we are really open to anything.

Also, are there any trails that we should definitely ride on while we are there?  We don't want to miss a great trail, and being that we are new to the park, we may not know which ways are the best ways to go!!

Are there any good restaurants to eat at close to the riding park?  We are planning on grilling out, but in case we are too tired from the long day of riding then we may end up eating out!!

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL, SO THAT WE MAKE THE MOST OUT OF OUR FIRST BIG RIDING TRIP (WELL MY FIRST BIG RIDING TRIP)!!

If you have a camper or RV, Trails End RV camp is now open right on trail # 3, if not, call erika and see if the Bluffs cabin is available, also the Trails End folks are building a cabin also, not sure when it will be finished.......call 423-663-4868

my first suggestion would be to learn what that little key on the left called "caps lock" does.

as far as trails, you should try to hit all the blue trails. they all are great. trail 95 going north is a GREAT climb. the 43/44 is a great loop but don't forget to take 92 while you are down there. 89 is about the hardest of the blue trails but it is must do. and if you really want to screw around try the scramble ride at the trail 3 campground.

if you want a challenge  the 48/49 is a long red trail worth the ride.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO PLACES TO STAY CLOSE TO THE PARK?  WE WOULD REALLY LIKE TO STAY IN A CABIN TO GET THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE OF GOING ON A RIDING TRIP, BUT WE ARE REALLY OPEN TO ANYTHING.

ALSO, ARE THERE ANY TRAILS THAT WE SHOULD DEFINITLEY RIDE ON WHILE WE ARE THERE?  WE DON'T WANT TO MISS A GREAT TRAIL, AND BEING THAT WE ARE NEW TO THE PARK, WE MAY NOT KNOW WHICH WAYS ARE THE BEST WAYS TO GO!!

Thanks for the info!  This should be very helpful for us!  We are very excited about the trip! 

I will have to call about the cabin rentals, unfortunately we don't have a cabin or RV, but maybe one day we will!

There are a couple hotels too around at the intersection of Hwy 27 & 63 and then on into Onieda... of course u would have to trailer to the trails and all but is another option in case the cabins listed are taken.
Hope that helps...if yall were willing ot primitive camp thats another option... but most folks tend to not want to do that. I will rough it for a night or two...then Im ready to go home or find electricity and real running water.

The folks at the permit office can also show u some places on the map of whats good to see and check out. Real nice folks!
