what is the closest parking lot to old schoolhouse rd in onieda?

I cant remember where that road is but there is good parking at the end of Trail 3...its pretty big area now and good size place. Onieda is a good ways from Brimstone and parking. I was thinking an old school house road was close to some cabins I stayed at before.

the cabin owner said it is 10 miles away.

So u want the closest parking area from the cabins u are staying in?  *confused* If this is the case I would suggest still taht u park at teh end of Trail 3... unless u want to go to the top of T3 and park up there... the road was a little rough the farther u get up and some 2wd trucks might have some issues.
Which cabins are u staying at? Might be the something I know.

Great place to stay! I have stayed there 2 or 3 times...cant remember exactly... T3 is the best place to park like I said... Old School house road is what its on i think. The owners were very nice when I stayed there.
It will take u about 15-20 minutes to drive to Bstone from there at a decent pace. Parking at T3 saves  u riding on teh pavement and u will be closer to the truck at night when u finish riding and can load up and then head out and be on your way.
I give the place u are staying two thumbs up... its where I go unless I camp.

We stayed in these cabins this past weekend they are very nice. Like Bama said it will take you 15-20 min. to get to Brimstone. We parked at trail 3 parking area, it was a little crowded this weekend.

U can park back up at town close to the permit office and ride the road to the trails but I hate riding the asphalt. U can also park up on top of T3 where they cleared out and planted grass....but the road going up is a little rough for a 2wd and not a lot of ground clearance.
U can also park close to the railroad tracks around the Wynona area and ride in from that way.... u then could go up T5 and hit the trails. We had a little bit of issues on T5 with my girl the last time I was there... its really been rode and had a tough section for her to get up. Most others with some experience wouldnt have a problem.
