Hope everyone had a good time, It was a GREAT turnout for this Event, in spite of the chilly temps, and snow flurries........ Special thanks to Nascar and the Soggy Bottom Boyz for getting this thing started....... Special thanks to all the clubs that were present, Harlan County Ridge Runners, Windrock ATV Club, Soggy Botton Boyz, Royal Blue Rangers, and others....... We had riders from all over the Eastern USA is for this Event and it's safe to say it was a success........ Thanks to everyone that rode with me in the SxS group, hope you got a good impression of what Brimstone has to offer, and just so you know, I was asked how much of Brimstone was ridden by the SxS group Saturday and it was about 20%, so much more riding and many more great trails to try out the next time yall' are here......... OK, let's start hearing some reports from folks, and opinions.......Thanks again, and we'll see yall' on the trails soon.......Stakk

Got to the campground about 1:30 on Friday, and panerman and myslef set up the Ridge Runner mess tent, then checked in the motel, and back to the fire it, Nascar and group pulling in right b4 dark, had a nice visit with many ole friends and met some new as well.
Sat. am everyone gathered up around the permit shed, split into 2 rides, side by side, and faster pace, with the latter leaving around 9:45am, side by side around 10am.
No major boo boo's on any rides, one flipped prowler, and some flat tires was all that reported from both rides. Got back in around 5pm and after a hot shower back at the fire pit for some chili, and did it hit the spot, made eveyone a wee bit sweepy as one by one they begin to find their bunks, the only ones with pep were bama and her girl has they just rolled into camp on Sat. nite.
Sunday am, a few stayed back to ride some more, and bama led the way, and yet another flat on our ride just had to happen. The group broke up and we started our trek back to the camp site, all weekend we fought mud, rain, and snow flurries, now bell on his new toy with stock tires held my own, until Sunday, off camber, shot the gas, slid sideways and kissed a tree, well just a wittle peck, pulled a cotter pin out of the door, and the velcro loose, minor repairs and on our way again.
All in all we had riders from, soggy bottom boyz, windrock, Royal Blue Rangers, MTORA,Daniel Boone Trailblazers, Bell co. holler crawlers, and I think I counted at least 20 Ridge Runners in all thanks for coming and thanks to the local runners that stayed behind and took care of our riders from up north, and many non club members as well. A BIG THANKS to nascar for putting this gig together, Stakk for guiding us, as a result it looks like our Aug. side by side event will be another summer fest as well, ALL CLUBS, ALL RIDERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND, and many said they were coming to Evarts as well. Need info, check on our home site forum in my signature, r ride and events link. Click below for 2 music flics, and my pics of the weekend...A GREAT DAY TO BE IN THE WOODS.
