I know everyone has been wondering...where are all these new trails.  So until our new maps come out in March we will be posting them on here, so that people can "try" to figure out where they are.   Smiley

So far we have about 8 new trails cut, and 3 of them are marked and ready to ride.  The trails that are marked and ready to ride are 82, 83, and 84.  They are all located off of trail #48.  And they will come out...well you will figure it out... Wink  The other ones will be marked shortly.  The other ones will be off of 43, but they are not marked yet.  We are busy making them, and then we will be marking them.

Sorry to not have a new map out at this time, but this process must happen for progress to happen.  Have fun with these new trails.  It's been really exciting here in the office lately with all these new trails coming up in conversation.  If you have any questions or comments about new trails, please let us know.

Hey, any idea what the difficulty ratings will be?  Any water crossings, mud holes, long hill climbs like the one that went from 1 to 9 along the powerline?

We rode 82,83,and 84 today! Good trails good mud holes on 82 and 83 has a big beaver dam on it 82. 84 has a good hill on it we like the new trails there is a spot on 84 turns up the hill looks you can make one that go's straight up another hill did not get time to try it got dark. Had a great ride I got stuck in one mud hole on 2 nice and muddy today now the mud is all froze to my rincon.

So we have gotten a few more tails up marked and ready to ride.  First a warning though these trails have not been ridden that much so it may be easy to get turned around a little and the difficults can be challenging.  We have another tail that comes off trail 48, it's number is 85 and off 85 there is another as well trail 86.  Trail 86 is a little tricky and it has only been marked so far at the beginning and end so be careful.  Another trail comes off trail 1 almost right where tr.3 goes on 1 it's number is 87.  Trail 87 has some sidling areas so please don't ride it by yourself (never a good idea to ride by yourself anyways) and it comes out on brimestone rd.  Two more trails are off tr. 43.  Trails 89 and 91 when you get back in this area there are a lot of old logging roads and such all over this area. You have to ride 89 to find 91.  We will probably have a few more trails in this area in the future.  Well have fun riding our trails and we will have more up shortly.  Also please let us know what you think of these new trails.

Howdy Neighbor! What part of AL are u from? Im from North AL.
Its kind of hard to suggest trails when u arent real familiar with how people ride and where they have ridden in the past.
We seem to typically start at the trails close to where we park and then hit ones from there with how much ever time we have to ride. Here lately we park at the end of Trail 3 in the parking area and ride down teh gravel road a bit and come up Trail 5...its had a lot more traffic on it lately and was a little rougher then it used to be when we started riding it... saw a few folks spotting each other at one hill climb but I think they were new riders cause we only saw them on the green trails or in passing.
Some of the red trails off of T1 are good ones... specially on a cold day... gets your blood pumping real good and warms u up. Most of those trails only seem to have maybe one real difficult spot and a good hillclimb. Those trail numbers are like 48 and 49 and maybe 52. Talk with them in the permit office and let them show u some places on the map and get a better idea of trails. JMO

Decatur area here.... hope yall enjoy your trip! U are looking about 5 hour drive from Gadsden.. maybe a few minutes over... depends if u go up Hwy 27 or I75. I have noticed quite a bit of folks from your area on message boards and at riding areas. I59 seems to help most of yall get to ride places quicker then I can get there by Hwy 72.
