Trail 27 mislabed as Trail 25?

Is Trail 27 mislabeld as 25?  I've noticed this a couple of times coming thru there, and it appears the eastern section of trail 27 (past the 25 northern intersection), is labeled 25, but its actually 27 on the map?

Anyone else noticed this?

This trail is still mislabeled.  Checked it 8-18-07.  I made a pic so you can see where its mislabeled it.  27 is actually two sections now, it crosses a gravel road, u then go down gravel just a tad (coming west to east) and you hit 27 again on left.  Which its labeled 25 here.  It looks like there was a 2 then a 7 painted sideways, then a 5 painted over the top of the 7 in upright.  Should real 27.  Also midway thru this portion of the trail there is another marking that reads 25. Which it is 27 according to GPS tracks and the printed map.

What do you mean?  that is a screen shot from Mapsource.  I use Mapsource to edit & work with tracks.   It's very powerful in track editing.  Takes you a while to get the hang of how it all works tho.

It is still this way, as of yesterday. I assumed the map was wrong. I guess that's just a point of view whether it's map error or sign error... the road/trail is there. It's no big deal to me... I also found other instances of the same thing.

are those trails still part of brimstone? we didn't do any of the 20s because we thought that was royal blue land now.

btw: are the new complete topo maps done yet?

All of the 20's are now the TWRA except for 25 and 27 which is still Brimstone Rec.  maps are ordered and they are HOPING they will be here by this weekends event, these new maps will have Brimstone trails ONLY on them and not the trails the TWRA took from Brimstone

I picked up one of the new maps Saturday and it agrees with the trail signs... rode the questionable part of 25 and all of 27.

Shawn or Dudley must have changed them back or they just made the map to what there are now, last time I was there they were still wrong acording to the old map.
27 is a nice lil trail around the River and up the hill like that.
