Hey I had heard that there is a burn ban in effect right now. Is that true for Huntsville??? And does that include campfires??? Just wondering, I hated to load up fire wood and not be able to have a campfire.

Hopefully it will be alright as long as we use a fire ring.
A camping trip without a campfire is like peanut butter without jelly...its alright but just not as good.

Man what a day! Didnt go anything like I planned which is beginning to be normal. Didnt start loading the truck till about 10:30 tonight and still not finished.
Had an issue with my trailer lights and they are still not working completly right and my wires for my lights werent long enough to meet where they plug into the truck so I had to work on that too. Got all lights but running lights :?
My dad has hay on the ground and had to work with him on that before taking off this weekend.... its not been much of a vacation so far! lol
Plan to try getting stuff squared away in the morning when we have more light.

Anybody got any ideas or solutions on the running lights on the trailer? Could it just be a bulb out? Like I said the blinkers and brake lights work, just no running lights.

I got to find some way of getting some firewood on that truck!!!! Or Im not coming.

unless you dropped the hot to that wire you may just have bulbs blown. Turns and brakes are usually a dual element bulb while tails are a single on their on. Maybe be a grounding issue just make sure you got 12v to socket and check those two bulbs first.

Thanks for that! I do appreciate it.
I did do the wiring myself but my dad watched as I did it... just cut the ground wire and connected another wire to it with a wire nut and then did the same thing with the other end to make it longer.... they werent working when I tried to plug it up before I ever made the extention... I think I have an extra bulb or two in my toolbox and will try that.

Loaded up other then that and should be on the road in an about an hour.
See yall tomorrow morning!

Hiho hiho, off to Brimstone I go!    Cheesy

Made it there and back... real dusty and got lots of new campfire stories to tell.
New camping area was packed and dusty from all the traffic and people camping. Looks like the word has got out on that place to camp.
Brantlee had a great time doing the drag race and just loved the trophy.

It was great to have everybody by our camp and the cookout was so much fun and I think everybody had a good time.

After last weekend and this past weekend, Brantlee has put over 200 miles on her Predator 90 at both Brimstone and Windrock. Looks like she will be coming along quite a bit more cause i think she has gotten bitten by the riding bug! lol
