i have uploaded a picture of a potential buggy in my personal gallery that i may be carrying in the near future. it is designed for desert/trail/dirt road running and or racing. it can be fitted for youngsters between the age of 6-17, and also for full size adults. the company that manufactures it has a racing series out west and is moving it east. many in the nascar areas are looking at them. in my opinion, brimstone would be the centrally location for these in the u.s.
what do you all think? will it fly or will it sink.
thanks in advance.
oh, it will do 50 MPH in the desert. and can be geared for different terrain. 14HP.
thanks

Well the little truck looks cool and I would assume they are playing of the Baja craze out west. It would certainly have potential around here it is all in how it is promoted. Look at go cart racing and where it has come from. I raced short track aspalt stock cars and still own one just don't find time to go anymore and from my experience it will come down to promotions. If you build an environment suitable and manage it well people in this area love racing. Love to watch it and do it. It could be marketable to multiple age groups. There is a big sacrifice of time and effort to the ones promoting the events. A good set of rules and age brackets and a good place to set up a good baja style course and you have a seed ready to grow in my opinion. How much is one of these set ups ready to race?
Thanks

as is, new, roughly $6500. but with different ages groups, adults mainly, there will be an optional engine, and of course, that would be extra $$$.
i may post some video on my site tonight.
but, thanks for your comments. i appreciate it.
please feel free to comment all you like.

Looks good from the videos. The racing suspension set up definitely looks like the way to go. I would probably need spare bodies laying around. A good track and they would get a following I believe. I definitely would be interested in a series like that.

From what I watched of the first video, that little truck is awesome. Of course, people want more power and speed, but you are off to a great start. People will race anything. Put one out with more power, geared for woods, bigger fuel tank, and decent ground clearance, and watch them go. Good Luck with your venture, the sky's the limit, so always look up!

bedo, why dont you buy or lease the raceway off howrd baker hwy and turn it into a track ? at the price of the buggies, the things would be affordable for alot of people to get into one. and they would need a place for some "friendly" competition. Race atvs and side by sides too.
