Just wanted to say the we had a great ride at Brimstone on Dec. 28th.  Thanks to Stakk for mapping us out a great ride for the day.  I believe GBOffroad already filled you in on some of the ride details, we were the group that parked at the office = 3 Ranchers and a Foreman.  We will be back VERY soon.  Thanks again.

I had a blast.  We started from the office, down the road and took a RIGHT onto Trail #1 just past the bridge.  We stayed on #1 all the way until we found #14 on the LEFT.  Let it be known that #14 is an awesome trail, but beware, it is steep in places and 2 inches of snow makes for high heart rates when your father-in-law is on a two wheel drive Cheesy   After we got the father-in-law dusted off from the small rollover incident we stayed on #14 until the #14/#28 junction.  We took #28 all the way around the ridge, crossing the powerlines.  Then took a RIGHT at the #21/#28 junction.  That tied us back in to the upperside of #14, which brought us back out on #1.  From there (after Coach found the outhouse) we took a LEFT on #1 until we found #29 on the LEFT (#29 starts behind an oil rig).  This trail offers a nice view of the windmills at Windrock.  We followed #29 back around to hit #21. #21 is a very nice trail, and it it pretty long.  After dropping off the mountain on #21 we took a RIGHT on #24(beautiful trail, alot of creek crossings).  #24 ties back into #21, so we headed back the way we came in on #21.  At the junction of #21/#20 we bumped into Dudley on a rhino.  Super nice dude, whose only concern was that we were having fun.  Then we took a RIGHT on #20 which came out on #47 Huh I think...   Took a RIGHT, from there we went by a couple of houses, and took a LEFT on #9 which has some awesome mud holes.  I don't think #9 is that long of a trail, but we played on it so long, it's hard to say.   Cheesy  Then #9 brought us back to the powerlines at #1.  Took at RIGHT on #1 and headed back towards the trailer.  It was ~55 miles and a great day of riding.  Tongue  I can't wait to get back to Brimstone and explore the RIGHT side of #1.

Yep, spounds like you took the route I suggested, and Yes after you come off #20 that is #47, which is easy now do to the dozer work for the loggers...... #9 is becoming very muddy and we will leave it that way for people to play.......ext time you ride over around that side, try #22 (when it's dry) and #27 is a great ride beside the river, also the trail between #24 and #22 is "Leavy Hollar", it ties back into 24/22 at an intersection in an old pit, nice ride through there also......... the "other side" of #1 one mentioned is good too, just a little more sparsely marked, with the map you can find your way around though..............Stakk
